VMworld 2017: Back To The Future

Four months have already passed this year and therefor it’s not strange to start thinking about VMworld!

This year, the event will take place in August (Las Vegas) and September (Barcelona), compared to previous years as the Europe event used to be in October.

After being away from VMworld for 2 years, I decided that it might be a good idea to enjoy this wonderful event again, together with other passionate people.

VMworld is primarily customer- and partner focussed, making it hard for billable VMware employees to join the event. Unless you’ve got a good reason to, which is, for example: presenting at the event!

I’ve personally done quite some public speaking, but never on the scale like VMworld. But it has been on my bucket list for a while to be honest.

So as you might’ve guessed; I have submitted a session which I will be presenting in Barcelona together with a VMware partner/customer. The session is a success story about performing multiple major platform upgrades on a live vCloud environment and includes experiences, lessons learned and feedback from our partner’s and my point of view, based on a project that was completed earlier this year.

If this sounds interesting to you, or if you want to help me make it on-stage, please use this link to end up on my session voting page. Have a look at other sessions to as you can help make a difference with which sessions are actually going to make it to VMworld Europe and US.

Be sure to log in with your VMworld account to make the vote valid. Voting is open until April 13th.

Thanks in advance and hopefully see you in Barcelona!
